Browse personalized TV Listings just like browsing the web, using familiar controls like Home, Back and Forward buttons. Download up to 7 days of TV listings for as many channels as you want, using information provided by Evolve Solutions. Download up to 14 days of XMLTV listings from any site that XMLTV supports. Detailed listings include show titles, episode names, descriptions, cast, ratings, VCR Plus+ codes (where available), and more! Searching has never been easier or faster.  Tap on a title, an actor's name, or a single word, and Pocket TV Browser quickly shows every match in its database, bringing new meaning to the term "hyperlinking". Use the Search icon for more powerful search options.  Not sure how to spell something?  Just tap a few characters and pick from a list.  Searched for it before?  Pocket TV Browser remembers! Smart search results mean you don't see duplicates unless you ask for them, and results are always listed in chronological order.

We're constantly improving our product, too.  Perform a manual download using the "Start Download" button in Pocket TV Manager, and you'll be automatically notified of any updates that have become available for the version you're running.

The latest version includes support for Palm devices, along with these other recent additions:

• A variety of views allow you to list upcoming programs alphabetically, by time, by channel, by release year, and even by movie ratings.
• Add or remove programs from your Favorite Programs list (OR your Pocket PC's Calendar) with one tap on the Favorites icon.  Use the same icon from the Home page to display all your Favorite upcoming shows.
• Filters make it easy to browse shows in specific categories, sets of channels, etc.  And you can assign friendly names to filters, such as "SciFi Movies".
• Customize the appearance and amount of information Pocket TV Browser displays with different fonts or colors, and improve readability with built-in ClearType support (requires Pocket PC).
• Runs on both Palm and Pocket PC devices, as well as Handheld PC devices and older Palm-size PC devices.
• Don't have a handheld handy?  No problem!  Pocket TV Manager (included with Pocket TV Browser) comes with a built-in Virtual Pocket PC.
• Leave Pocket TV Manager loaded on your PC, and new TV listings will be automatically downloaded as often as you like, insuring that your listings are always up-to-date, without having to wait.
• Browse Category Lists and Favorite Lists just like any other page, using a new Home page layout.
• Browse By Time in half-hour increments (or a channel at a time when browsing By Channel) using the right side of the control pad.
• Re-sort Channel Lists with a single tap on the Channel List heading (similar to how Program Lists are re-sorted).
• Define multiple locations, with independent time zones, and optionally adjust show times to your current time zone.
• Create multiple databases, synchronize any or all of them with your device, and select a database when you start Pocket TV Browser.
• See which shows are "Repeats" through user-definable color coding.
• Set more Calendar options, such as the Busy/Free state, and a user-definable Category string (Pocket PC only).
• Perform more precise Searches, using new options such as Exact Words, Exact Case, Titles Only, etc.
• Enjoy new compression format that reduces database size by over 10%, with minimal impact on search speed.
• Use new Performance tab option to turn new compression format on or off (on by default).
• Benefit from a number of other small improvements, including navigation improvements, additional tips, diagnostics, etc.

This is an English-language release, and TV Listing coverage is currently available only for the U.S. and Canada, through Evolve Solutions.

Pocket TV Browser (Version 1.xx) is a fully-functional TV listings browser.  Registration is optional.  However, depending on the listing service you choose, you may need to purchase a listing subscription, which is payable directly to the listing service, not DoubleBit Software.  If you sign up for listings from Evolve Solutions, you'll get listings free for two weeks, after which there's a $10 annual subscription fee, payable to Evolve.
