Pocket TV Browser Device-specific Downloads
Palm and Pocket PC users should simply visit our
Download page, where you can always get the latest released version
for your device.
Alternatively, if your device is a Supported Device, and you know
your Device Type and CPU, or in some cases just your Device
Name, device-specific
downloads are available in the following tables. Such downloads are
SMALLER than a standard installation package, because they only include a single device-specific
version of Pocket TV Browser.

If you're not sure what your Device Type is, the following table lists
a number of popular devices by Device Name, so you may find what
you need here. It is not intended to be a complete
list of all known devices. Just
because your device isn't listed doesn't mean it's not supported.
This table is just to help you understand what the Device Types listed
above mean, and also to make it easier for those of you with common devices to find
the right download.
Supported Devices
Pocket PC 2000/2002/2003 devices are what Pocket TV Browser was
originally designed for, so all Pocket TV Browser features are fully supported
(including external memory cards). Palm devices are now supported
as well, provided you have enough internal memory available (external memory
cards are not supported on Palm devices).
Pocket TV Browser on Palm-size PC devices has certain limitations.
First, there is no Caption bar, so there is no visual indication of the
Browser's filtering mode. Second, access to the Calendar from third-party
applications (including Pocket TV Browser) is not built into these devices, so
you won't be able to add your favorites shows to your Calendar directly from
Pocket TV Browser. Third, Pocket Internet Explorer was not included on
these devices, so Pocket TV Browser's help files are not accessible on the
device. Fourth,
support for B&W Palm-size PC devices is largely theoretical, because we
don't have the hardware in-house. All these limitations can be solved in
other ways, but given the low demand for these devices, there are no immediate
plans to do so.
For Handheld PC devices, the first two limitations of Palm-size PC
devices still apply. For Handheld PC 2000 devices, only the first
limitation applies, because Calendar access should be built-in.
Testing on Handheld PC devices has been limited, so
it's possible you may run into other issues that we're unaware of. As always, we
will address any serious issues promptly.
