There are two ways to browse programs by channel: selecting a single channel from the Home page's list of Favorite Channels (or from a Channel List), and creating a Channel Filter. Channel Filters give you more control, but require a few more steps to create. However, once you've created a Channel Filter, they're just as easy to use as Favorite Channels, because they're included in the Home page's list.
Adding a channel to your list of Favorite Channels is easy: if you see the
channel name/number on the screen, simply tap on it, and then tap the Favorites
icon 
.
Alternatively, bring up a Channel List, either with the View/By Channel menu
or by tapping on the Home page's Channel List, and then select the
desired channel.
To create a Channel Filter, select "Channels..." from the Filter menu. Move channels from the "Available" list to the "Selected" list, enter a descriptive name if you want to save this Channel Filter for future use, and then tap OK.
Channels can be moved from either list by tapping one or more desired channels and then tapping the appropriate arrow between the lists. You can also select or deselect all the channels in a list at once, by tapping the label above the list.
Once you've created the Channel Filter, it will affect all pages displayed
afterward, until you either select a different filter or clear the
filter. Note that while the filter is in effect, the caption indicates [Filtered].
You can quickly clear all filters by either tapping on the Home icon 
from the Home page again, or by selecting "Clear Filters" from the
Filter menu.
