Preferences
Under Search Preferences, "Show all programs" means show all programs, even if they aired in the past. "Show only upcoming programs" means show only programs that are airing now or in the future. One advantage to "Show all programs" is that a Search Results page automatically shows all times; a second tap is not required to see all shows at all times. However, we believe that most of the time, you'll only be interested in unique, upcoming programs, so the default setting is "Show only upcoming programs".
Under Channel Preferences, "Sort channels by name" means channels are displayed alphabetically (by their alphanumeric name or "call letters"), whereas "Sort channels by number" means they will be displayed numerically.
"Automatic keyboard" controls the behavior of the soft keyboard whenever typing may be desired. You can manually activate the soft keyboard using the keyboard icon on the bottom of the screen (if one exists), but if you'd rather do it manually, then clear this checkbox.
The "Tips..." button allows you to activate a series of on-screen tips that can help you discover new features of Pocket TV Browser.
The "Fonts..." button takes you to another screen that allows you to customize the font used to display time, channel, and program listings.
The "Colors..." button takes you to another screen that allows you to customize the colors used to display past shows, repeat shows, favorite shows, etc.
The "More..." button takes you to a page of Additional Preferences.
NOTE: the Palm version of Pocket TV Browser has fewer capabilities than either the Pocket PC version or the Desktop PC version (the "Virtual Pocket PC"), so some of the above options will not be available.
