Use the Search icon to search for any word or name in the database.  You can also quickly search for any word or name in a Program Description by simply tapping on it.  In both case, the results are immediately displayed in a Results List.

There are a number of special options on the Search page that only apply to searches performed on that page (not to searches performed by tapping in Program Titles or Descriptions).

"Exact words" is useful if you want to search for two or more consecutive words.  Pocket TV Browser uses this type of search automatically when you tap on the first name of an actor in a Program Description.  Other words can precede or follow the specified words, but no other words can appear between them.

"Case sensitive" is useful if you want to search only for the capitalized or uncapitalized form of one or more words.

"Titles only" restricts the search to Program Titles.  When BOTH "Titles only" and "Exact words" are checked, only titles that are exact matches will be displayed.  For example, a "Titles only" search for "Star Trek" would include "Star Trek", "Star Trek: The Next Generation", "Star Trek: Voyager", and so on.  But if you ALSO checked "Exact words", results would be restricted to "Star Trek" only.  This is different from how "Exact words" works when used by itself.

"Include Reviews" is only useful if you have configured Pocket TV Manager to include Movie Reviews in your database.  When checked, this will include reviews in the search.
